I am Zoot!
Actually thats a lie, my name is Andy and I'm a Graphic Designer and Artist from the UK, where I live with my amazing wife and awesome dog called Alfie.
I have been drawing ever since I can remember, following my dad who is also a keen artist. I've been obsessed with robots since we rented Robocop from the video shop when I was 9. ED209 is still my favourite movie baddy to this day!
Drawing Digital
I've been painting digitally since 2008. I swap between my iPad pro and my Wacom cintiq, depending on where i am, and mainly use Photoshop, Procreate and Clip Studio, and I've also started getting to grips with TVpaint.
Sketchbook work
I keep a regular sketchbook and attend life drawing classes every week, I think is incredibly important in moving up as an artist which is something I'm always striving to do. Drawing a figure from life is one of the most challenging things and it never gets easier, but its a challenge I love and I've really developed my skills as an artist because of it. I use tanned Strathmore Pads and Shinhan touch markers along with coloured pencils and white paint pens to achieve my lighting and textures
